Milwaukee Bucks Arena District Site Design

Landscape Architecture, Site Design | Wisconsin | Back

Challenge

The Milwaukee Bucks had outgrown their dated facility, so the team began searching for a new location and assembling a team to assist with planning and design.

Solution

Our staff was providing design services on-site even before the team was assembled to design the Milwaukee Bucks Arena District. Kapur was actively moving the existing 84-inch combined sewer overflow for WisDOT, which would be owned and maintained by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District.

After Kapur was added to the design team to provide site design services, we provided planning services for a myriad of civil engineering items including the relocation of utilities, roadway design for WisDOT, the roadway design for the City of Milwaukee, vacating 4th Street, and the connection to the Milwaukee Streetcar.

Once the team moved into the active design phase, we provided services across all blocks including the Fiserv Forum, training facility, medical facility, entertainment block, parking structure, pedestrian mall, and all improved roadways surrounding the site.
