Kapur & Associates, Inc. has an opening for a Junior Level Structural Engineer.
This highly motivated individual will join the team in the Transportation Department of our Milwaukee, WI office, developing design solutions for high profile major bridge projects. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
Experience with the following software applications is required : Leap Bridge; Microstation; CONSPAN; MDX; LPile. Prior experience on WisDOT bridge design projects will be a plus.

Kapur & Associates, Inc., has an immediate opening for a Professional Entry Level Environmental Scientist/Technician based out of our Milwaukee, WI office. The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Natural Resources, Watershed Management, Hydrogeology or related studies.
Job Responsibilities will include:
* Wetland Delineation, Waterway Assessment and Field Data Documentation and Interpretation
* Agency Permit Applications (Local, State, Federal; Shoreland, Wetland & Waterway Permitting)
* WPDES Construction, Municipal, High Capacity Well Permitting and Compliance Oversight
* Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Design and Implementation
* NHI (Threatened/Endangered/Special Concern Species) Review and Habitat Assessment
* Technical Report Writing
* GPS Usage
Applicant must possess a high level of organization in scheduling, performing and follow through on high volume workload. Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel. Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with good driving record. Safety training will be provided as needed. Some travel is necessary – typically 1 day trips within Wisconsin. Candidate must be willing to work in variable weather conditions (rain, heat, snow, etc) as needed for work outdoors. Typical work day may be outdoors in variable weather and terrain conditions as well as at office locations as requested by our clients.

Kapur & Associates, Inc. has immediate openings for strong technical minded candidates to perform natural gas service/distribution design and electric power service/distribution design services. The ideal candidate will have educational or work experience background in mechanical design/drafting, electrical design/drafting or civil engineering design/drafting.
Positions are available in the Fox Valley and southeastern Wisconsin areas. Experience/education with natural gas distribution or electric power distribution and MicroStation is a strongly preferred however training will be provided. Candidates must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver License with a clean driving record. This position combines office work and field visits, so applicants must be comfortable with all aspects of the job requirements, including expanded work hours as needed and multi-office job sites.
